# Change log

The record changes only when the public record changes. This page lists each change with its date and what moved. The watch emails the same diff to subscribers, and the refresh script fails loudly if the source moves without the record being updated.

Record changesDateChangeDetail
2026-10-21Record publishedFirst record: the amendment identity, stage 50.00 and its dates, and the 117 public definitions of ISO/IEC 22989:2022 that the amendment builds on.

## How a change is detected

scripts/refresh.py fetches the ISO catalogue page and the ISO Online Browsing Platform entry, normalises the stage fields, the dates, the status and the defined terms, and compares them with data/rule.json. A difference is reported with the field and the old and new value, and the script exits non zero. Nothing is rewritten automatically.

## What the watch sends

One email per change, naming the field, the old value, the new value and the source link. No newsletter, no marketing, no schedule when nothing has changed.
