# Terms of use

This site publishes a reading of the public record of ISO/IEC 22989:2022/FDAmd 1. It is not legal advice, does not certify and is not affiliated with ISO or IEC. The record and the files are a working aid, and you should check any line against the official text before relying on it.

## Accuracy

Every definition and requirement is stated in our own words from the public record. The text of the standard and the amendment is not reproduced. Where the public record is silent, the page says so. If you find an error, write to support@theartofservice.com and it will be corrected and logged.

## Trademarks and copyright

ISO and IEC are the trademarks of their respective bodies. This product is not affiliated with, endorsed by or approved by ISO or IEC. The standard and its draft are the copyright of their publishers. No part of the standard or amendment text is reproduced here.

## No certification or advice

Nothing on this site is a certification, an audit opinion, a legal opinion or a guarantee of compliance. The kit and the watch are working documents and alerts. You remain responsible for your own compliance and for your own decisions.

## Licence and delivery

The kit is licensed to one organisation for internal use and its advisers. It is not for resale and it is not for publication. ISO/IEC 22989 remains the copyright of ISO and IEC, and no standard text is included. The kit is delivered as three files through the account page after payment. If a file is missing, write to support and it will be supplied.

## Payment, renewal and refunds

The terminology kit is a one off purchase and the change watch is a monthly subscription, both through Stripe. The watch renews each month until cancelled. We give at least 30 days notice of a price change by email to the account address. Prices are in US dollars and exclude any tax Stripe adds for your location. Cancel the watch at any time from the account page, which opens the Stripe billing portal. Because the kit is a digital file delivered immediately, a refund is offered where the file is faulty or not as described; write to support@theartofservice.com and it will be resolved.

## Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where a guarantee applies and the failure is not a major failure, our liability is limited to resupplying the service or paying the cost of resupply.

## Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and the courts of Queensland have jurisdiction.
