What the history shows
The committee draft consultation closed in January 2025, the DIS was registered in June 2025 and the ballot ran for twelve weeks from late August 2025. The DIS was approved for registration as an FDIS in August 2026, and the final text reached stage 50.00 in September 2026. The elapsed time from project approval to this point is just under three years.
What to diarise
- Stage 50.20: the proof or the eight week FDIS ballot. The text is fixed at this point.
- Stage 60.00: under publication.
- Stage 60.60: published. This is the only stage that makes the text available.
The watch checks the ISO record for these transitions and emails the diff. The planning date on this site is recalculated only when the stage record changes, not when a stage slips in conversation.
